Tired of washing all those felt filters, or just waiting for the syrup to drip through the filters? Maybe it is time for a filter press. This press is designed for the small hobby producer. It has a hand operated pump on the press that all you have to do is work up and down to push the syrup through the press. A filter press will get your syrup much clearer than any flat or cone filter.
Sold separate is hose for the filter press (HFP75), papers (FPR7H), and filter aid (FAID).
Usually people will use a 3/4″ hose that will go right over the 1/2″ nipple on the press and then you will clamp it down. So you may also need 2 – clamps (CL10) and a second nipple (VNS0525) for the inlet.
